1. Re: Weather in early December. Temps don’t really change a ton no matter what time of year it is. Usually it’s upper 70s/ low 80s during the day and mid/low 70s at night. It does tend to be more rainy in the winter but all day downpours all over the island are rare, barring some major weather system.
The average monthly rainfall in Honolulu for the month of December is 2.52 inches -- but Honolulu is on the dry side of the island. Temps are low 80's. Temps are low 80's. Unless the storm comes in - the rain is showery and leaves great rainbows.

Re: Waikiki Weather in Early December. Aloha vg247, The winter months are the rainier time, but it is not like a monsoon season. They get on average about 4 inches of rain in December. which is about the same or less than most places in the Midwest get per month in the summer. And high temps should be in the 80's.
Re: oahu in December. 16 years ago. Today is Nov 16 and the ocean is full of surfers from Diamond Head to Kaka`ako Beach Park. The weather, in one word, is "perfect"!! Not too hot, not too cool with some big puffy clouds in the beautiful blue sky and lots of sun. Mostly all along Waikiki is safe for swimming in the winter.
Answer 1 of 2: Hi .I wanted to get some advice on the weather at this time. I took my daughter at the beginning of march when they had flooding and everything( it rained for 9 days!) and I am leary about rain at this time.
