6 reviews. 2 helpful votes. Midway Car rental. Apr 10, 2024, 5:41 PM. I am wondering if anyone has recent experience with Midway car rental. The posts I saw were old. My quote is by far the cheapest and I looked at Avis, Enterprise, Hertz, and Alamo. Budget was also cheap but got horrible reviews.
The ones I have personally used successfully have been Black & White, Silvercar, and Enterprise Exotics. All of those and Midway are not the cheapest option but have nicer cars, and premium service. Report inappropriate content. simba_8. Pacifica, California. Destination Expert. for Pacifica.
7 years ago. Car rental location reviews would be a great addition to TA. I've used Midway twice, in 2013 & 2014, and both times had no issues at all. Zero lines, zero upselling on insurance. Report inappropriate content.

Reviewed November 25, 2019. Don't rent from ROUTES Car Rental. One month after I droped off the rental, I got an $50.75 charge because I had an unpaid toll of $0.75. They called the $50 an Administration Fee which is outrageous. Will never rent from Routes again!!
Previously we used different companies but there were always nasty surprises. They look cheap but they usually don't tell you about insurance cost (add $45 a day in California ). With MCar transport from LAX is very easy as they use free shuttle bus to take you from and to the airport and its literally 5 min drive.

Depending on the location of your terminal, the walk can be as little as 11 minutes (from terminal 1) to 21 minutes (Tom Bradley International Terminal). Keep in mind that the bridge that you use to cross over Sepulveda Bl at the eastern edge of the airport has a roadway on it ...
