We were also disappointed with Aurigacrown in Spain (Murcia airport) this year as the 300 euro credit card deposit was processed on day 1 and processsed again as a credit on day 7 which resulted in 2 conversions to and from sterling and the loss of £16 in fees despite the pound actually rising in value over the week.

Hey everyone, I am going to Spain for my honeymoon in September, and for a portion of it we are going to be driving around Andalucia. I submitted a car rental through Aurigacrown on April 12 and imediately received my booking details through an email.
I have just tried a mock booking for may and was given the following message on the top of the rental voucher, (the booking is with Malaga car) <<Due to the cessation of activity of AurigaCrown car hire, this rental service will be conducted by Malagacar.com. We offer the same or better service with a fleet of new vehicles.
