Answer 1 of 2: FYI, I just booked a car for 8 days in May, from 15 to 22 for a total of $171.14 total. It included a standard car from Alamo. When booking from Hotwire, they don't tell you the company ultil it is booked and the payment must be made at the time...
1. Re: Any good discount codes for Alamo Car Rental. Alamo a partner with Costco. If you are a Costco member book the car thru Costco travel. You get a minimum of 25% off any rate Alamo.com can offer. My deal was 25% off and $40 since I'm renting for 10+ days.

For $15 off - use Alamo coupon code AD4538JDC. Requires 3 day rental, use for rental pickup by 12/31/11. Blackouts may apply. No printout required. I think the $15 one has been out for a while, but the $35 weekly coupon is new. I've been waiting for a discount code to use for our Thanksgiving trip. Hope this can help others as well.
