Hertz Mexico is a very unprofessional organization. I verbally declined all additional insurances, upgrades or anything from the basic rental multiple times. However, they added insurance and upgrades last second and ask me to sign pretending it was what we originally agreed. I read their Google reviews and this happens every day to tourists.

The car rental agent will be unable to pull off a "new" reservation if you have a printed copy of the original reservation - which you should have had. I always print every page of my reservation and have it with me when I pick up the car just in case there is a problem.
Credit card charged $1500.00!!! $1000.00 of taxes, false upgrade, and random services. We declined all, charged for all to the enormous sum of $1500.00!!! It is a total scam. Six of us in a family group travelled from Australia. We travelled in the shuttle from LAX to the site to collect the car.
