   Votes. The restaurant dress codes are confusing, and constantly changing. The Mexican, the steak house, and Sushi place required dress shorts and good sandals, not flip flops, the fusion restaurant, required closed shoes and long pants. Some of the brochures said that all the ala carte restaurants required long pants, and some said long pants.

   1. Re: Riu Palace Peninsula - dress code. 9 years ago. I don't know of any resort in this part of the world that requires anyone, man or woman to wear LONG sleeved shirts. What they often require is shirts with sleeves and a collar - e.g. a Polo or golf-type of shirt. A tank top or regular T shirt would NOT be allowed.
