It appeared on my checking account online transactions as pending immediately. I received my confirmation email, and my ticket number. All the usual stuff.

    But you'll see the charge actually happen soon. The airline checks with bank to see if you have money the day you buy the ticket. Then after confirming with bank that you have the funds in your acount, you'll see that your amount appeared in your bank acount the next day again- DONT touch the money though!
