Go to the Denver Zoo instead--it's cheaper and has WAY better exhibits. The only cool thing the Aquarium has that the Zoo doesn't is sharks. The Aquarium is small, crowded, and run down. Took me and my 14 yr old ~1 hour to walk through. When we went to the zoo, we spent 4 hours there and could have spent more. The Aquarium is a SKIP IT for sure.

An exquisitely beautiful aquarium, with exhibits teaching various watery ecosystems and multiple places you can be surrounded by the fish, sharks, rays, barracuda, and more. We especially enjoyed seeing seahorses that looked like bouquets, clustered around seaweed with their tails holding one another. But we did not feel safe there in Covid-19 era.
