Contents. Non-geographic telephone numbers in the United Kingdom. A non-geographic number is a type of telephone number that is not linked to any specific locality. Such numbers are an alternative to the traditional 'landline' numbers that are assigned geographically using a system of location-specific area codes.
The 0800 range can have NSN length as 10, 9, or 7 digits. The 0845 range can have NSN length as 10 or 7 digits. The 7, 8 or soon to be 3 is just the first digit of the phone number, and is a hangover from the relatively brief period when London had two area codes. Originally the area code for London was 01. Then as phone numbers began to run out, they replaced this with two new area codes for London, 081 for outer London and 071 for inner London.

Well you need to dial 0044 845 084 0900 i.e. you need to drop the 0. It should be reachable unless your phone operator does not support such non geographical numbers numbers which is possible. Have you also tried 0345 084 0900. Their direct number is 020 3427 7500 according to the saynoto0870 site.
