I have a few reservations with different companies. I’ll be canceling and let one or two remain. Right now I have enterprise $590; and thrifty $400; and Avis $600.
Having used Alamo SJU many times now I can say it is the best car rental experience I have had anywhere in the world including other Alamo's and various other companies. On top of that it regularly has the best rate at SJU and is close to the rates of off airport agencies. Edited: 7 years ago. Report inappropriate content.

You have to book on the cargo ferries which travel infrequently and on a variable and unreliable schedule. The cargo ferry does not take cars to Culebra.
Thrifty Car Rental at SJU?? 4 years ago. I’m looking for a small car to rent for a month this coming winter. I found just what I need from Thrifty on Trip Advisor and Rentalcars.com, with a location in the terminal. When I tried cross checking this on the Thrifty website (because I have trust issues), there is no location in Puerto Rico at all.
