The Washington Post is a nationally-known newspaper, so lots of folks are interested to see it. There is not a public tour available, but if you want to walk by, it's at 13th and K Streets, NW. There is a small sign near the door if you want a selfie opportunity. Occasionally public events are held there, keep an eye on their website.
I find the incidental hold confusing. Most often I give a credit card for the hotel to use for any extra charges other than the room, such as snacks or a meal in their restaurant.
