Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.

Going to Charleston for a five day family vacation and plan to rent a car at the airport. I used Expedia or AAA to get quotes and found Thrifty always gave much lower quote (CAD $400 range) than other more well known companies such as Alamo or Enterprise (CAD $700-800 range). I am not familiar with Thrifty (don't have them here in Canada).
You can look up their reviews on here, but generally rental car companies are franchises. Hertz owns Thrifty; they're a major provider. And Thrifty in Tahiti and Moorea may be absolutely great. I have used them a lot in the US because their prices are often very low. But I've found their customer service iffy, and sometimes terrible.
