   To answer the OP, Id choose Avis. as mentioned same company but Budget is their "budget" brand and Payless is their ultra budget brand. I only will rent from Avis, NAtional or Hetrz and am a part of each preferred memeber of each which allows me to g ostright to my car as detailed above. Reply.

   I only use budget, booked thru costco in vegas. Weve used them at least a dozen times. Never any issues. Sign up for fast break and skip the lines. 2 or 3 times we ended up with a Corolla that should have been retired from their fleet, but the larger cars have always been nice, clean, and almost new

   It was a Chevy Blazer with 55,000 miles on it. Got it towed back to Budget Las Vegas Airport and exchanged. Six months later I got a bill for $2500 for a rear differential. Budget Corporate Says it is a wear and tear item I shouldn't be held responsible for. Budget Las Vegas doesn't agree, I'm still fighting it...
