My daughter, post college, is in Paris for a year and running out of her contact lenses obtained in the United States with a US prescription. The lenses are disposable one day lenses sold in boxes with a prescribed correction and made by Bausch and Lomb.

I had a picture of my glasses prescription to show the optician. From there we knocked off a quarter from each eye for my contacts Rx and I got two boxes within 5 minutes.
