ACG is the much better bargain, IMHO, as it can be found for as little as $4. Most coupons in the book are for DT and off-strip properties so it may not be for everyone. I paid $4.25 for my ACG, so even if I only use the coupon for 2 free drinks at Bill's it paid for it self many times over.
There are so many ways to get discounts. Groupon, vegas4locals, goldstar, Eventbrite, and livingsocial are a few apps to check for discounts to events. Most of these have restrictions so read them carefully. Also check to see if there are any coupon books in your hotel room.
