If Priceline accepts no responsibility for the outcome of deceptive, inaccurate pricing or hidden fees, then I'd suggest using Priceline to compare prices, then book directly with the hotel or airline. You'll get frequent flier miles or hotel points when you book direct (which you don't get with when you book through priceline), and if there is ...
For hotel bookings and bidding Priceline is great. Just got a sweet deal in Paris for next month. Never used them for flights.. Priceline doesn't offer an option where they choose from 5 different hotels. That is incorrect. However, the Pricebreakers feature is an option where they choose from 3 different hotels. I personally don't use the Pricebreakers feature because I would rather choose my hotel and not let Priceline make the choice.
