If eating out for all meals $200 is a good number, you can save a chunk with a good pizza take out or supermarket trip. Equally you could shave it if you go to the all you can eat places like Golden Corral (look out for coupons). Not the best food but your family will eat for under $50-60 lunch or dinner. Gifts.

When traveling without kids, the dining plan seems extravagant at $38 per adult for a budget trip. However, with 4 kids, you average out at around $20 per person per day, which sounds much more reasonable. 4. Re: cheap disney vacation for family of 6.
This could easily be $50 per person on a single day, but on average more like $25 per person for the entire trip, or $125 a day. Airfares and rental cars really drain the budget. For airfares, I use expedia mainly and do a lot of obsessive checking and rechecking dates and nearby airports.
Re: Hotel on the strip for family of 6. 11 years ago. Planet Hollywood and Caesars Palace both have shopping malls inside the hotel proper. Of those only Caesars Palace is a 5 star resort, Planet Hollywood is 3+ stars. Palazzo, Venetian, Wynn and Encore are all 4-5 stars and across the street from the Fashion Show Mall.
