I've been once before and rented thru Conn's Ireland Car Rental (they include full insurance) for 1 week, it was about $550 I think in 2019. This time I need a car for 13 days. With insurance (the only way Conns does it) the cost was Є1645. Thats close to $2000 which seems ridiculous to me. So I decided to use my Costco Citi Card insurance.

The reason for that is that for most cases you will receive a car that is not new and will have some scratches and or dents. You must identify those before you depart (every single one of them).
