However, Costco.ca (online shopping) does accept Visa cards. Costco in Canada is separate from (although related to) Costco in the US, and banking is separate in Canada from US banks and credit cards. So the contract that Costco has with Visa in the US does not apply in Canada, or vice versa. Yes, Toto, you weren't in Kansas anymore.

Our current experience, for what it’s worth. We arrived in London on April 12, and decided to use our Capital One Venture One Visa credit cards (contactless ) exclusively for our current trip. They have worked flawlessly, not one problem. Two cards, two different numbers, one account.
As Alberta-traveler said in Post #4, there is a surcharge added on to credit card purchases. Prices in the store are usually marked with the "cash price" in big numbers and the "credit card price" in smaller ones. Re: Costco Travel - Air Canada - Problems With Airline Credit. The trip was over $8,000, it was just the flights that were $3,300. It is only the $3,300 that I am trying to figure out. I contacted Costco and they said they will look into it and get back to me next week.

Did you know the CITI/Costco VISA credit card eliminated the 3% foreign transaction fee? Also, it includes 3% cash back rewards for restaurants and eligible travel expenses. I use a combination of a no foreign transaction fee credit card, this one now, to settle my accommodations bill and with “excess” pesos. This change is welcomed by me.
