Re: Average wait time for luggage. 3 years ago. Dia is a big airport. You take a train from the gates to the terminal and then still wait for luggage. An 11 shuttle for a 10 arrival is cutting it close and if your flight is late you will miss it. I would guess uber or lift up there would be $60 or $70 depending on surge pricing etc.

Arriving into DEN term. east (southwest) to fly international (british airways) out of term west. Couple of Qs -. 1. In baggage claim area therr are some restaurants outside security. These are generally on a level above baggage claim. There is one on site airport hotel ( I think a Westin) but the rest of hoteks and car rentals are off airport ehere you need to use shuttle buses to get there. You'll need to go to baggage claim and re-check your bags if: You chose to have a layover. You make a connection that involves an overnight stay.
7. Re: International to Domestic connection in DIA. 4 years ago. You do have a bit of a benefit using Southwest as your connection, but this is still a somewhat risky plan. With most airlines, if you miss a flight on your itinerary the entire itinerary is canceled. Southwest is more flexible in allowing you to use the ticket.
