Gas tank not full BS!!! May 2024. Thrifty Honolulu airport rent a car sent a letter charging $43.00 for gas after a week we returned the car with full gas. The charge is being disputed with the same credit card company we charged the gas prior to returning the car to Thrifty.
Thrifty Car Rental: Stood in line for almost 2 hours at the Orlando airport on April 8th and received terrible customer service. Looked at my credit card statement when I was home and they over charged me almost $200, for some kind of insurance I declined.
1-2 hour wait times for a car make this a pretty terrible car rental service. I wish I would have checked google reviews before renting a car at Thrifty Honolulu. Check the reviews before booking!!!!
Perfect rental, upgraded my vehicle too! Rented from Thrifty at Newark airport. Was concerned because online reviews weren't good but when I got there 30 minutes early, they were able to get me a vehicle right away. My wait time was 10 minutes, and they upgraded my vehicle from a compact to a SUV without additional fees.
