Once you have that on, while your phone is connected to WiFi it will act just like you are home and connected - you can make and receive calls and SMS text messages.
A). If you use a Verizon mobile phone roaming in Grand Cayman, you will pay the Roaming rate that Verizon charges. They use CDMA technology. There’s good CDMA coverage in the main tourist areas of Grand Cayman, but the carriers in Cayman use GSM technology so GSM/EDGE coverage in all three Cayman Islands is far superior. B).
