Apr 2024 • Couples. On April 2, 2024, I rented a Volvo SUV ( Non Electric) at the Boston Airport. The price of the rental was $265.00 which I prepaid on Priceline for $176.00 and the remainder was to be paid at the ticket counter. They a place a 270.00 hold ( $200 deposit + $70 ) for the remaining charge.

The line was a mile long and only one person checking people out! It took about an hour and a half to get through that line, then there is another line to get your car. After you get your car then there is yet one more checkout to go through. All told over 2 hours to get my car. Do not even consider this rental company!

This company does not care about its customers, there is no customer service. All in all with the changes for this rental car, my Lyft, and the returned certified letter this experience cost me approximately $900 for a 3-day rental. By far the worst customer experience I have ever had. Stay away from this company!
Then there are extortionate airport service fees and other miscellaneous charges totalling another $160. To cap it all, the whole lot is taxed for another $50. In total, our $480 rental became $899. Absolutely unbelievable - never had anything like that in all the hundreds of cars I've rented around the world.
