A city RV resort with less facilities than other Sunland resorts however the team , particularly Josh, Clare and Jennifer are super helpful - nothing too much trouble . The location is great for visiting San Diego and the trolley service just outside the park gate is excellent if you choose not to drive.
My wife and I, a young dual-military couple, recently enjoyed our stay at the San Diego RV Resort in La Mesa, following a less-than-ideal experience at another RV park near Pacific Beach. We highly value our space and tranquility, and our previous location left us cramped amidst noisy neighbors and constant sand and dirt.

Nearby is the wonderful La Posada Hotel, a former Harvey House. Durango and Cortez Colorado would be a nice base to see the beautiful mountains as well as Mesa Verde NP. The campground inside Mesa Verde, Morfield has a few electric sites but there are many rv parks just outside the park. You could fill your 3 weeks easily!!
