6 years ago. Yes, Google Maps works perfectly here. Three things to make sure you have: 1 - A mount for the phone to attach to the dash or the air-vent (these can be bought quite cheaply) 2 - An Irish SIM card which you can put into your (unlocked) phone so you're no worried about data roaming.
Re: Driving Directions MD to Maine - avoid New York traffic. 17 years ago. The best solution to avoid traffic around Boston to/from Maine- Cape Cod, is to make the wide swing via I-495. It also depends very much on when you make that leg. If at all possible, avoid trying to get on/off the Cape Friday-Monday AM.

3. Re: Alternate route to by-pass Atlanta to the west no interstate. 5 years ago. Totally agree with the US 27 route. You could actually get on 27 at Ocala and make it a long great drive. Great scenic route. Lots of shops, small towns, eateries and history. This will be a long drive, however, slow down, enjoy life.
