9 years ago. I am mapping out a massive USA Road Trip and had my route drive times on the website: roadtrippers.com. A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.
I’ve found Google Maps to be very reliable in France.The “offline” feature works really well if you don’t have data coverage. I don’t drive in France myself but I spend a lot of time in the passenger seat beside a professional who does, and his go-to app is Google plus a paper Michelin atlas.
Re: Best Driving Route Cincinnati to Myrtle Beach. If taking I-75 south, I would take this route. Take I-75 South to exit 29 in Kentucky (Corbin/Barbourville exit). This exit will save you about 30 miles compared to staying on I-75 to Knoxville. At exit 29 take a left onto HWY 25E.

2. Re: Rt 95 vs. Rt 81Question Traveling to Myrtle Beach. You'll be on 81 to Harrisburg and that's where you have to decide: stay on 81 or take 83S to pick up 95 below Baltimore beltway (695). As axle says, 95 is much more direct, but traffic getting around Baltimore & DC is to be greatly feared. Timing is all important.
