You can join a rental cars gold club or executive club or whatever and then usually skip the lines. Last time I rented a car (not denver) I was 2nd in line. By the time I go the car there were 25 people lined up. My review would have been great, and everyone else would have said the line was forever.
Our Enterprise rental at the Denver Airport last month may be the best ever!. Very competitive pricing, a 30 second wait for the shuttle, 1 minute wait for the CSR who not only did not push an upgrade, the gas plan or additional insurance, but walked us to the vehicle and made sure we were familiar and comfortable with the non-standard features of a Prius.

Roy, I've heard good reports about Enterprise at Denver but they appear to be the most expensive option for a Full Size car for 14 nights in July: $853.66 + Damage Waiver + Local Taxes.
