    hi there. i can confirm a good 50% of the people speak english. all the streets are signed in english and chinese. and best thing is the kcr (train) and mtr (underground) has a automated service saying. the next stop is tsim sha tsui... it will then repeat in cantonese and also in manderin. you wont have a problem!!!
