It is very easy to drive back to baggage claim and pick up the other person with the bags. There is a sidewalk to the left of the parking lot.

Alamo at Tampa Airport would not honour a paid contract made by a US citizen living in England because I do not have a British driver’s licence. Dan, Manager there refused to give me his last name. He was rude and condescending, even after I explained I was back in Florida to bury a parent.

Gotta watch these customer service people on the phones. Tried to reserve a car for four days, online selection was 1, 2, 3, or week. I called, was told not to worry about it, to return the car at the proper time on the 4th day and I would be charged an extra day at that time.
