7. Re: American Airlines - no email confirmation after 48h. 5 years ago. My AA confirmation email shows as a "Confirmation and Receipt" with the record locator code. Our experience is that 24 hrs with AA is not all that unusual but 48 hrs would be. You might try this: make an account with AA.

The first record locator from American Airlines was missing the last flight. After contacting them, they issued a new record locator that includes the missing flight.
