15 years ago. Hi. I have made myself an expert on evaluation of rental car rates over the past 3 months. Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.
While we were there we rented a car from AAA Car Rental. We had the BEST experience!!! There was a miscommunication regarding the timing of the rental. It's a way for the rental agency to handle THEIR increased risk of renting to people under 25 but in no way does it change the fact that you will need to purchase some form of insurance.
