    I had the same problem because I logged into my Delta account and it simply would NOT update my credit card details. I must have tried a zillion ways. In the end, I booked the flight without logging in, adding the credit card details in the payment section.

    Problem is that the airfare will be over $1,200 dollars and Delta's site states if fare if over $1K I cannot use Delta's credit card towards that flight. It appears Delta's site will not let me use two separate credit cards to pay fare. therefore would still need to spend additional $1K in order to receive $200 credit on my statement.

    After all you would probably be whining even louder if Delta let someone use your credit card to buy their ticket. If Delta let someone use it, that would mean that the thief would have a fake passport with his picture, but registered to me; I think that HomeSec & DepState would be much more interested in the case.
