From Tokyo, take a Hikari Shinkansen to Hamamatsu station, then jump on a local train a few stops to Iwata station. From there, take bus #25 from bus stop pole #2 at Iwata station and get off at the "Yamaha Hatsudoki" stop. If you take bus #27 (same pole) it's about 12 minutes to walk. A cab costs about ¥1500 one way.
