I've been looking for a car rental place in IAD (Washington Dulles) in July. kAlmost every single site has min-priced cars @ about $33 a day, but for some reason, Kayak.com has some cars at $15 a day.

I'm considering renting a car thru KAYAK, since, for whatever reason they have the cheapest price to rent a car in Alaska. I almost never make reservations thru the travel sites, just usually go direct because of getting burned in the past.

   Use Kayak or expedia for air and/or rooms but not cars because they often include NO insurance costs as mentioned . Your link opens up to America car rental which does disclose insurance info and is a good choice .    Rented in Glacier NP in August through a third party and had no issue. I will also be in Banff starting June 18th and opted to use Turo based on the rental car prices. It was much cheaper to rent through an individual.. if you decide to go that route then I would suggest choosing a car/owner that has reviews rather than a “new listing”.
