Picking up the car at the airport is easy, with the car rental agencies located directly on the property. The rental companies are easily accessible by the free shuttle which goes to and from Jeppesen Terminal. You can join a rental cars gold club or executive club or whatever and then usually skip the lines. Last time I rented a car (not denver) I was 2nd in line. By the time I go the car there were 25 people lined up. My review would have been great, and everyone else would have said the line was forever.
The best I could get at Dollar was $444 for the week. The round trip shuttle will cost $90, but rentals in Colorado Springs are about $250 less than Denver, and since I'm working for a non-profit, I'll probably go ahead and do that. It's hard to belief the difference in prices between the two cities.
