Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.

I have booked a car for a week through Hertz using my AAA discount. This discount shaves off some money, and gives me unlimited free miles.

I think there are two possible reasons. - car rental prices increased after the initial "no travel" or "limited travel" period of the pandemic. - you are dropping the car in a different location.
I had a major issue with Hertz. We rented a car in Florida through hotwire and did a pay in advance deal for a compact car (description was ford focus or similar). When we got there I request a car with a trunk (because we were taking day trips with luggage and didn't want the car to get broken into), and the agent advised that the compact cars were all hatchbacks without a cargo cover.
More Las Vegas Topics. Answer 1 of 16: We always book with Hertz (and get AAA discount, as well as Hertz's #1 Club Gold privileges). However, this time, the price difference between Hertz and Budget/Dollar is $100. We have never rented from either company.
