Zipcar is a car share program geared towards residents of a city. You pay a monthly fee or annual fee to join, then an hourly rate for the time you actually reserve/use a car. You need to return the car to the same neighborhood location that you picked it up, so no, you couldn't pick it up in Boston and return it in NYC.
8 years ago. Howdy, I've been looking into rental options and, as everyone has posted, car rental in Denver is quite pricey. As an alternative, I've been looking at using Zipcar for a day trip (which would be under the zipcar approved mileage limit). Has anyone had any experience using Zipcar in and around Denver?
Re: car rental for the day. 5 years ago. We rented a full sized car for one day in September, picked it up at the International Marketplace garage and it cost us $94 for the day. Returned that same evening so figure we saved about $40 in parking, so as far as I'm concerned the car cost us about $50 for the day.
