The rock formations stand large, strong and command presence. So very unique in the layers of colors and movement of lines. The 1.1 mile tunnel built in the 1930s is quite impressive. 2 driving lanes bored straight through this very hard solid rock. Incredible engineering in the 30s. Many pull outs to view sites and hike the trails. Beautiful day.
