   Based on the information from this form, I have a resv. through Costco for Alamo, 7 day rental full size (Fusion or similar) at $285.00 total which I think is a good price. Just checking Costco website today and found rate through Budget for Standard vehicle (Chrysler 200 or similar) at $193.00 total so almost $100.00 savings.

   5 years ago. Prices are within $22 for the rental fee I'm just wondering which of the 3 listed rental car companies has the best reputation in Kona? I have read stories about Maui Budget having some major issues with "running short" of cars. We are going next Christmas. Thanks for your advice!

All of the car rental places are about a half-mile away from the terminal; nothing at the terminal itself, and each is about the same distance more or less. Over the years, there have been more complaints about long lines at Alamo than the other agencies in Kona.
