15 years ago. We had our dog with us when we went to Cades Cove. She could stay on the paved roads, and a little bit on the grassy area, but when once you go towards a trail, the no dog signs are up. It was really still plenty, though--a beautiful drive. We also took her on the two trails that dogs are allowed on, and it was really fun.
