As above, many phones are listed in the landlord's name, and many people don't even have a landline phone, but rely on their cells, which have no listing.
1. Re: No Google Voice in Thailand? 10 years ago. I use Google Voice in Thailand with my US Google Voice number, using the Talkatone app on an iPhone. There is no need to forward the calls to your Bangkok phone number, because whatever Google Voice app you use will just connect to the cellular data network (and not to the cellular call network).
