The one on the west that is best for your route is the Martha Berry Highway - #27. It's a nice road, 4 lane almost all of the way and goes through some of Georgia's prettiest farmland (IMO) in south Georgia. If I were making this drive, I'd cut over to the west on I-10 to pick up 27 and drive it all of the way. Use Google maps to "see" the route.
