    Now being south of them the weather was a frequent topic of conversation. Though as others mentioned it's not balmy, it's still in the 60's mainly and we occasionally broke into the 70's. Coming down here from northern Wisconsin winter here is like our May and will be a good 15-20 degrees warmer than DC on average.

    Weather in April is generally great... highs generally in the 70s, lows typically in the 50s, though some days, there may be fluctuations higher or lower. Just to throw out an alternative... there is more to South Carolina than just the coast... the Upstate region of South Carolina is also quite wonderful!
