Technology is such that direct links from rental companies are imbedded in OTA, airline & other rental booking channels so you don’t book a rental car when a location is closed.
Do not use this rental company, I did reservation my reservation through chase Travel rewards for 1 week from 7/03 to 7/10/2022, they pick me up at the airport and drop me at their office, The person helping me ask me for over $1000 in car insurance for 1 week, that's the craziest thing I ever had. even my credit card covers the car, and the only thing was the third-party insurance I needed.
WARNING ! SCAM ! FRAUD ! Bait-and-switch. FOX rent-a-car and EUROPCAR in Merida Mexico. They completely disregard the terms of your online booking, and claim that you are REQUIRED to buy an additional MANDATORY insurance, 5 times higher than the rental price itself. STAY AWAY ! Try the more reputable companies such as Hertz or Avis.
Jan 30, 2024, 5:31 PM. We just came back from Arizona and went through wisecars which gave us a Fox rent a car. We are from Canada and our insurance was to allow more than one driver. We found this was not acceptable to Fox and charged us extra for my spouses ability to drive with insurance.

Do not rent from FOX rental. A number of hidden fees and you end up paying more than if you went with other leading rental companies. My initial estimates were supposed to be $350.00, but after all the hidden fees, we end up paying close to $600.00.
