Those tolls can be paid after the fact on your phone - just google the bridge name and see how to pay online via credit card.
Enterprise, Alamo and National all owned by Enterprise Holdings. Enterprise is their insurance replacement brand that also dabbles at airports. Alamo is their budget/casual traveler brand. National is their business travel brand and is the best of the three, nicest cars, best prefered renter program at the airport etc.
I need to determine which Alamo car rental location will make the most sense for me to drop our car off at. We will be spending the night at the Holiday Inn and Suites Fisherman’s Wharf. I plan to check into the hotel and then return the car. The 2 locations are 750 Bush st and 687 Folsom st (convention center area).
I got a rate of $222.67/week plus taxes and fees. The total for my 2 weeks plus 1 day, including taxes and fees, is $622.21. This is about 40% LESS than the cost of an Economy or Compact at Alamo (or other majors such as Avis, Hertz, etc). They're also offering Premium category cars (Chrysler 300) for deep discounts.
