I have booked a car rental at the Kona airport with Budget and now I see a better price with either Thrifty or Dollar. BUT i see all of these companies get really bad reviews on Trip Advisor for this location.
To answer the OP, Id choose Avis. as mentioned same company but Budget is their "budget" brand and Payless is their ultra budget brand. I only will rent from Avis, NAtional or Hetrz and am a part of each preferred memeber of each which allows me to g ostright to my car as detailed above. Reply.
I got an email for budget plus Amazon discounts for car rentals. If I pay now, I can get a minivan for my family of five for 10 days significantly cheaper than I’ve seen on any other site, Costco, DHCR, autoslash. It’s been running about 1400-1500 on most sites until today.

Hi Kimtraveler. I frequently rent cars at the Orlando airport and have found Budget to be the quickest. I strongly recommend you sign up for Budget's Fastbreak program as it lets you bypass the regular line where the wait can be extremely long.
