Hi. We are planning a trip to Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Trongsa and Phojikha. We are a bit unclear about the new rules from November 2023. Do we understand the following correctly 1) a guide is mandatory by law everywhere except in Paro and Thimphu locations 2) both the visa and SDF can be applied for and paid for online 3) the visa or SDF application will require a licenced guides' licence number?

It can be 30 or 90 days. $80 or$200. It is ONLY single entry. This is the relevant page from the official visa site of the Ethiopian Govwernment.
