   2. Re: Wal Mart or grocery store near airport. 6 years ago. Vons right on the corner of Tropicana and Maryland is the closest regular grocery store coming out of the airport. Your driver will know where it is and know its the closest store whcih is only about a 1/2 mile off of your route to the Strip if that is where you are going, you dont say.

From the rental center, we headed east on Sunset, I think it was, and then north on Eastern. Then to get to the strip, we went north on Eastern to west on Tropicana.
