An Epic pass is a product of the resort. It sounds like you think any store can sell them, and they cannot. So you have to get it at an official resort ticket window. I don't know what you mean about going to one of the peaks. You get it at the base ticket window.

2 reviews. 2. Re: Epic pass versus lift ticket. 3 years ago. The epic pass is your lift ticket. Its required to have advanced purchase and reserve your day with covid. You cannot buy a ticket at the window this year. Note summit county where breck is, is in covid red currently. No indoor dining.
The best deal is the epic season pass for something like $900 for unlimited days. Depends how many days you plan to ride. The epic season passes come with some discounted buddy passes along with it. If you have one person skiing a lot, and some others just in for a couple days, then this may be the way to go.
