As for a flight to Hawaii, best they could do was a week later on Tuesday. That flight would arrive after our return flight’s departure from HNL. So, they told us they couldn’t do anything more and basically abandoned us in Los Angeles along with about 250 other passengers. Standard operating procedure for Hawaiian Airlines I guess.

10 years ago. I believe Hawaiian airlines holds the #1 spot for the most reliable/on time flights out of the US market. No worries - I think it would be very unusual to be late. But you still need to arrive at the airport in a timely fashion for TSA, fruit inspection, etc. :) Report inappropriate content.
